Topics: conservation of mass, the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics, properties of pure substances, entropy, reversible and irreversible processes, device and cycle performance, application to engineering problems such as gas turbine engines, refrigerators, and heat pumps.

Engineering is for Girls!
Outreach activity to increase the interest of local girl scouts in Science, Technology and Engineering by creating and presenting stereo 3D flow simulation videos of flying and swimming animals.
